Jacob Kiplimo, whose 2:00:28 at London 2026 ranks as the third-fastest marathon ever run, returns to defend his 2025 Chicago title against Kenya's Amos Kipruto (2:01:39 PB) and rising HOKA NAZ Elite standout Alex Masai. In the women's race, defending champion Hawi Feysa faces former marathon world record holder Brigid Kosgei and two-time Boston champion Sharon Lokedi.
