Start with one athlete and one training week.

A small trial tells you more than moving your entire roster at once. Use this checklist whether you currently coach through V.O2, Final Surge or a spreadsheet.

  1. 01

Check what you need before switching

List your required devices, feedback tools and payment arrangements. Anystride has no automatic V.O2 or Final Surge import, direct Garmin/COROS sync, or watch workout delivery. Keep your existing service while testing.

  2. 02

Apply, then start with one athlete

Coach applications are reviewed. After approval, invite one athlete with their permission. Copy the invitation message and send it yourself; creating an invitation does not send an email. The athlete must sign in with the invited email and accept calendar sharing.

    Recreate the next training week

Use your own original workouts or material you have permission to reuse. Build a plan or assign workouts to the connected athlete. Check dates, units, targets and recovery steps together before training begins. There is no automatic transfer of your old plan library.

  4. 04

    Review a recorded result

Ask the athlete to record duration, distance and effort after a session. Open their calendar and review the result alongside the planned workout. Agree how you will communicate feedback outside the calendar; threaded workout messaging is not available.

    Review athlete calendars →
  5. 05

Decide whether to move more athletes

Confirm that planning, result review and communication work for both of you. Keep an authorized backup of your own records and verify exports before ending another service. Each athlete needs their own accepted invitation; do not assume past consent transfers.

What can move today?

Athletes can import supported activity summaries from a Strava CSV export and review them before saving. This does not import a V.O2 or Final Surge roster, training plan, conversation or complete activity archive. The calendar can export a selected week of athlete-entered training as CSV.

Strava account connections are a limited beta. Sharing synced activities is separate from accepting a coaching invitation.
